Un giorno perfetto, cucciolotto mio. Un giorno in cui ho rubato molto da te: gioia e paura, allegria e velocità. Porterò con me le tue discese per la collinetta; discese a rotta di collo, discese d'entusiasmo: c'è un bel gioco alla fine della discesa e vogliamo farlo subito.

"Un biglietto per il lancio del figlio!" Sono contento anche io, il tuo entusiasmo è contagioso. L'imbracatura e l'attesa in fila ai piedi della scaletta che ti porterà sull'albero. "Facciamo ben attenzione a tutto quello che ti dice il signore che ti accompagna. Segui le sue istruzioni."
La mamma ha molta paura, le mamme son fatte per questo.

Ma tanta paura è venuta anche a te, cucciolotto, quando ti sei trovato là in alto con il prato disteso sotto i piedi. I tuoi occhi sgranati dicevano tutto, mentre piano piano, accortissimo ti muovevi da un albero all'altro.

Ma poi è arrivato il momento del lancio e lo spavento è sparito nella velocità... Oddìo un po' di paura potevo continuare a leggerla nei tuoi occhi, ma l'entusiasmo ha preso il  sopravvento.

Appena fermo: "facciamo un altro giro".
"Sì cucciolo, un altro giro"
